First of all they are in Taiwan, so yeah pretty obvious why Jeremy gets the attention. Secondly, David Lee isn't very well known overseas. I'm from Australia and it would have been the exact same if they came here. People would recognize Lin, but not David Lee.

Lol. What a narrow perspective you have there. This is Taiwan. There are very few even remotely good Chinese/Taiwanese basketball players so when there is finally on that is at least decent enough to be in the NBA it's a big deal. The Taiwanese people are excited at this rare occurrence and so Jeremy Lin is well known to them. As for David Lee? There are plenty of other great non-Asian basketball players too. What makes David Lee more special than the rest of them? It's not disrespectful -_-
