My favorite version of this song, though I'm not a huge fan of his music, his voice is phenomenal

I heard him at the White Sox game for the first time.. I like him

Good as you think this was, it doesn't even really portray how good this guy really is. Six of us wandered into Ari Hest's performance while in Easton, MD this weekend and all of us were so impressed with his vocals. Being a singer myself, I have full respect for his range, control, wonderful falsetto--and also his guitar talents as well. I also thought he was pretty damn easy on the eyes, too. We met him after the performance and he is one heck of a nice guy too. I hope he goes very far.

I want people to be able to comment about the music, not about religion or politics or any such thing. I don't care what your nationality, religion, sex, race, etc. are. Do you base your like of a sports figure on his religion or on whether or not they can play football, swim fast, hit three pointers from outside the key...Get what I'm saying. Listen to the music because Ari's talented, not because of what religion he is or isn't.

"Hallelujah" was originally done by Leonard Cohen and has been covered and recovered by many artists, including one of the most well-known versions by Jeff Buckley.
