My life-long friend Kanoa Kimball lives and cares for a farm above Kailua Kona, Hawaii. Kanoa's father Mark Kimball began building large geodesic dome structures, patterns of criss-crossing scaffolding roofed with a large fitted tarp-like cover. Inside all sound comes back to one exact place in the center. If your standing here and someone talks in another part of the room it sounds as if they're talking right into your ear, and your own voice is sent right back at you as well. Cool effect, and a fun place to play didgeridoo. I put one microphone in this sound-kick-back location, one pointed at my face to get my breath, and one in front of the bell. My friend Tim Flood mixed it down for me, fun little beat.
Aloha and thanks for watching :)
