Extreme close ups, quick cuts, unconventional storylines, excessive violence and character aliases; combined, these are all trademarks of the one director, Quentin Tarantino.

And with them he has created some of cinemas most loved scenes.

16:29
Winning the Oscar and Golden Globe for Best Original Screenplay for the groundbreaking Pulp Fiction, Quentin is now an audience favourite.

Originally conceived as one film, hit franchise Kill Bill was released in two separate volumes and received tremendous reviews. Star Michael Madsen believes thats due to his artistic vision.

Michael Madsen
"I think he has a good sensibility of putting characters together and not making anything clichéd, not making anything that we have already seen that kind of thing. His stuff is always brand new and honest."

17:13
Quentin came out of nowhere in 1992 with Reservoir Dogs, a film that now stands as a true classic and hes since had success directing and writing Jackie Brown, From Dusk till Dawn, Natural Born Killers as well as the Kill Bill films.

17:29
He teamed with filmmaker Robert Rodriguez for the 2007 "double feature" project, Grindhouse, which they divided into two portions. The first half, Death Proof was directed by Quentin and starred Kurt Russell in homage to the high-octane auto thrillers of the '70s.

17:48
The king of cult hits, Quentin Tarantino is the symbol of a new generation of young directors that audiences just cant seem to get enough of.

  • @McNugget06

hmm interesting, thanks for that tid bit of information :)

  • @buttmunch472 Not entirely correct, Avery wrote the base outline for The Watch in the form of a script he was writing called "Pandemonium Reigns". QT just used the outline of that story and put it in his film. Avery didn't write that sequence.

  • @McNugget06

not trying to be bitchy or anything, but just being the stickler for Tarantino that I am, the nerd in me requires me to tell you that Tarantino didnt write the golden watch story, that was written by roger avery. which is why PF is written by QT and roger avery

  • @McNugget06 If you're talking about Natural Born Killers, the you are fucking correct. I hated the shit out of that movie. Oliver Stone needs to fucking die already.

  • @gopoop777 I know you posted that comment a long time ago, but he didn't even write it, he wrote a script, which Oliver Stone and some other guy almost completely rewrote. What came out of it was very good but probably not tarantinos vision

  • lol micheal madson doesnt seem to have much to say unless he's reading a script lol

  • @musukowarui I agree!!

  • @gopoop777 he didnt write the movie they made either. wat he wrote was completely different from the movie that came out.

  • @gopoop777 He didn't write the piece of shit they filmed. He wrote a masterpiece of epic genius. They rewrote his script entirely and ruined everything in it.

  • agree 100% thats why he is so good taking something very simple and making and awesome script out of it.
