  • 0:28 - she looks a lot like Theda Bara

  • Yes and also D.W. Griffiths

  • Another beautiful video

  • Mary Pickford delighted the hearts of milions of filmgoers from 1909 to 1933 with her beautiful blonde curls, sweet face and child like air of innocence on screen. Mary was the most beloved and famous female movie star of the silent era. A little girl named Shirley Temple became the next generation's favorite child star on screen and it is interesting to note that some of Shirley's films were based on plots from Mary's films made a decade or more earlier. Fondly, Hedda

  • I saw a PBS special about her once, and it was very interesting. I passed up buying an autographed photo of her, it was oddly sized and a great shot, in pretty decent condition. I'm so mad at myself still. Somebody from the historical society in my town bought it. It was in an antique shop. Just an awesome photo. She photographed like no other of her day to me. Very nice editing.

  • Very well done special effects!..it only showed her face to be so delightful to work with, colorful and vintage care. She was very pretty and beautiful at the same time! yes

her long hair was a powerful head line event

after the cutting of it in the 1920,s.

    Very Nicely done

    Pierre

  • Basil: Thanks for this lovely tribute. Mary wasone of the greatest starsof the Silver Screen! A testament to her power, was when she cut her hair in the late 1920's, this was a headline in the NY Times!
