How to change your oil on your 2008 Scion tC. *Note* - The volume of oil is dependent on the amount of oil left in the vehicle. It just so happens that 3.5 Qts. fills my motor to full.

  • Good vid. If you're only replacing filter every 10k, you might as well get a Mobil 1 Oil Filter, or a K&N. Fram makes the worst filters, even if it's extra guard or whatever. I read a thing on Fram once about how they found metal shavings in their filters or something. If you're paying the extra buck for Mobil 1 oil, pop for the filter too. I only change oil ever 5k miles

  • @clof2001 I used K & N oil filters before but this one time I decided to use the Fram oil filter, just this once. I even use K & N air filter for my car. I do my oil changes every 3,000 miles, because the driving in Orlando is tough on the engine.

  • Great video! Very informative

  • It is a 14mm socket and not 9/16", both will fit, but you are more likely to damage the nut. Thanks for the video, it was very helpful.
