I shot this short 40 second video tonight. Its a cutsie little tune I like, which plays in the background of your Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer DVD when the menu is up, waiting for you to select play on the DVD. I shot this using my final perfected and tested settings on my Canon HD camcorder:

1) Manual Focus Mode (Camcorder default is auto focus)
2) Aperture Priority set to f4 (Camcorder default is f1.8)
3) Auto Exposure (AE) Set to -3 (Camcorder default is 0)

Every other setting on the camcorder is left untouched.

  • THe HD quality is fantasitic. Which Canon did you get? HV20? HV30? I really want to get one before next season.

  • I got the Canon Vixia HF10, the one with the internal flash.
