The best songs will live forever. I still listen to Johnny Mathis from the fifties and the Seekers from the sixties, and I think this was the best time for music. Then I hear another oldie and think it's the best. The crap songs are forgotten. Listen to some of the swing from the 40's and it's awesome, too. Go all the way back to the early years of our country and the Civil War. Some of those songs are still around today.
