Clearly a 4th gen. Headlights are what you can tell by the easiest since the extra crease on the bed isn't there. Sweet vid!

That is a Fourth gen due to the change in the extended cab models in 1998 when they had the new interior access to the rear with the suicide style rear doors. Before 1998 there were no such thing so it is a 4th gen if you want to be technical.

Shame on the younger welders these days, nice shiny rigs, all talk no show, just worried about how much the pay is, not worried about the quality of work or putting in the time to earn a days pay, will switch contractors for a 10 cent raise. What a shame!
