Halo 3 - Sand Challenge 1 : : Obstacle Course

Hey everyone! Bored of matchmaking? No? Well getting tired of hackers and obnoxious people on Xbox LIVE? Well, I have a solution! If the Summer Mythic Recon Challenge is proving to be too difficult for you, how about trying something that is a little less difficult. I'm not saying it's easy though!

After noticing the Halolympics, I decided to test my abilities at obstacle course-making. And I have to say it turned out very decent! (Before this, I have never finished forging a map yet.)

Sandy Course 1 takes you throughout all the levels of Sandbox, integrating many aspects of Halo 3. These aspects are:

-crouch jumping
-grenade jumping
-equipment jumping*
-long jumping
-vehicles

All these aspects were kept in mind when creating my obstacle course. After finishing my course, I attempted to test it out so I could put a video on Youtube, and so I could have a walkthrough just in case someone was in need for one. It took me a couple of tweaks, and then about a dozen tries before I finished the course with my best time.**

If you would like to try your luck at my obstacle course, visit my fileshare on Bungie.net to download the map and gametype. The first person POV walkthrough is also available for download (you might need a little help).

(I will update the best times as they are posted), take a go at my Sand Nightmare level (not uploaded to my fileshare yet. I will get Bungie Pro to upload it, soon).
Sand Nightmare is basically the same level, with a twist. Different lighting effects have been added to give you more of a challenge. If you can complete this, you have mastered my first course.

*Equipment jumping can only be done if you are host or if you are an Elite. If you can prove me wrong, please do so.

**My best time is 2 minutes 11 seconds. (had to do this or else Youtube would make the 2'11 a click-able link.)

@ewesty222 You're kidding, right? This map may have some accurate and close jumps, but it's very poorly made. He's not "that" good at making maps. Me? I openly admit to being a no-life who could improve this map ten fold in 30 mins. Just saying, compared to me, Atsutaoka has a life and shouldn't be insulted like he doesn't. <3
