@TheTruth8018 The Taliban were the ones who utilized the drugs for their profit. Opium funded the majority of Taliban operations. They were no different than the drug cartels in Mexico that use their profit on marijuana and cocaine to fund their military rule. What everyone forgets is that Afghanistan was a functioning democracy before 1979, when the Soviet Union started their communist imperialism. The Taliban came about in the late 90's when Afghanistan was in civil war and conquered.
