"Face the Truth Tour is a peaceful protest against abortion. We use graphic signs and hold them against abortion. First we have warning signs to let people know ahead of time what they're about to see"
Pelonetillo, you never heard of a right to draw the breath of life, another way of saying the right to life? Did you not ever read the Declaration of Independence (signed on July 4, 1776) stating among other things, "We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, among these the rights to LIFE, liberty," etc. Read it! It's there!
you didnt have to, squirt. you can either kill or cant, black n white. self defense is irrelevant. thanks for the brilliant logic. taking a life is taking a life. black n white, as scragsma said. greatest philosopher of our time.
Yes, that's what I said. I said nothing about self-defense; you brought that up. Self-defense is not about taking a life, but about preserving your own or someone else's life.
AuShawster, truth is not subjective, or it would not be truth. What you're thinking of is opinion, which can be subjective. The abortion debate has to be pretty much black and white, because life and death is black and white - either you're alive, or you're dead, there's no in between. Either you have the right to take the life of another human being, or you don't - there's no in between.
To AuShawster - "must be stopped"? How, oh how, do you come to that conclusion? Oh, never mind. If the babies' right to draw the breath of life is not crystal clear to you, neither is any other right - including the First Amendment right to free speech.
Always keep in mind that Christian 'truth' is subjective. There is mentally, something wrong with those who see the abortion debate as black and white (period) and must be stopped (period)
I believe excessive religiosity diminishes cognitive development.

so if you can kill someone in self defense, you can kill someone and thus this means you can kill anyone, for whatever reason. i see.
