In Honor of David Wilkerson !1931-2011 [Tribute:I Saw The Lord-Dallas Holm]

The is a special video in honor of "David Wilkerson" who went to be with Jesus April 27,2011 !The Bible says in Proverbs10:7"The memory of the just is blessed.' The song by Dallas Holm is very fitting seeing that Dallas was a vital part of the Wilkerson ministry for many years ! The is my tribute to a very honest sincere man of God who loved the Lord with a fervent heart.God bless you.

PS-Many souls are now in the kingdom due to his obedience to the Lord.And countless believers have been inspired by his preaching of the Word of God.He was not a perfect man and we are simply doing this to honor what the Lord did in and through a country preacher who was pastoring a rural church in the hills of Pennsylvania when he called him to reach the gangs of New York City in the late 1950s ! He obeyed the Lord and sought the Lord and God used him as a vessel of honor ! He was sold out to Jesus and the LORD used him in a mighty way .The list is endless of the various ministries that are very fruitful because David obeyed God.Many people are in the ministry today due to the ministry of David Wilkerson.Now is the time for a new generation of men of God to arise with a holy passion for God ,for holiness, for the Truth and for the souls of men and women.

Because of Pastor Wilkerson I understood and believed in the Lord in a way no other pastor was able to teach me. I attended his church every sunday for years and I live in CT! I was heart broken not that he died but how he died. I had an admiration for this man of God like no other and he will be missed more than I can say.  Times Square Church was his vision and i pray that Pastor Carter continue to lead it in the direction that God had wanted it to go. Times Square Church change my life.

Thanks be to God first and for Pastor David for creating and founding Teen Challenge. This April it will make 3 years since I have been sober from any substance including alcohol wish I have not even drank one beer since. Teen Challenge saved my life.

I heard Rev. David Wilkerson speak in Toronto back in the '80's when he approached the pulpit to speak the audience applauded him....he rebuked us and said, "How dare you exalt the flesh in the Presence of the Holy God" (paraphrased) The Holy Spirit fell upon all and David spoke with authority and power of the Holy God he lifted up

Pastor Dave was such a trooper. He did so much for God on his time on earth. I cried during this sermon. I go to freedom chapel AOG, and I met David's brother Don who is another very nice caring man of God. I still have to call the family to let them know I have been praying for them. I love david's sermons. i have been to times square church once in 1999. I want to go to take pictures and videos for the church to help them somehow. being used in ministry is so important for young men.
