Mo Farah sets a Great Britain and European record, became the 33rd runner to run sub-27 min 10000m as he wins the 2011 Prefontaine Classic 10000 meters.
Nine runners cracked the 27 minutes barrier, the record for a single race.

  • This run with a 2:25 final kilometer reminds me of El Gerrouj -- run the legs off your opponents with a long drive, but still be ready to sprint. Pretty amazing.
