@SOTBS don't let them charge into their destruction
-
@210482fmj Who's to say that? As long as there are people, there are going to be bad ones. The military are there to help deal with the worst ones. I'm also probably not the sort of person you want to recruit for help; I'm joining the British Army in May next year, as one of those officers who order others to 'charge to their destruction.'
-
@SOTBS we should prevent this from happening to every human being on earth.
-
@210482fmj I agree that there comes with military service a risk of personal injury. But surely, in joining such a service, one accepts that risk? I think you should try and protect your friends and family from the military, if you're set on it. But stick to people you know personally; leave the opinions and decisions of strangers alone.

Let us stop all this nonsense. I am French and the British Army is one of the finest in the world. And, what is more, is what the British have always fought for, as do the Americans: They fight for the freedoms of other peoples.
Yes; it is a mantra to say, that the Americans do things for their own interests. Really?
Well, there are hundreds of British and Americans who gave their lives so my France can now be arrogant, socialist and rude-
God Bless the British Army-deserving of our gratitude
