@snipperwhapper the thing is, i think they get to pick their partners.... but i do see what you mean....the show is certainly rigged in the favor of some dancers over others....

@msugrl2010 You are right: Maks HAS been paired with a lot of "train wrecks." He, Louis, Tony, & Dmitry have had their share of not-so-hot partners. People talk about how wonderful Derek's teaching and choreography are. Well, consider this: Maks as taken four women with little or no dancing experience and turned them into fabulous, memorable dancers. Derek did, three partners with previous dance experience and two who appeared to have natural dance talent. Which is more admirable?

One of my favorite dances from any season of dwts!!! I hate that Mel came in 2nd though, she definitely deserved to win:)
