I saw the Tipo 33s at Sebring from 1967 to 1972..
DeAdamachs leading the first lap in '67 with the snorkel car was amazing!!

Great driving, nice lines and throttle control, the occasional missed shift and apex showed you were really trying... unlike some of the others. Like the way the GTAm gave way to the bigger brother!

My dad loved driving this car for Otto Zipper..Tho he got lapped several times at Laguna by the 917-Turbos..he finished 5th at riverside with his helmet taped to the roll bar after a serious crash 5 mth earlier in Canada..no Shit..

We have been fighting a fuel issue that seemed to come up consistently after about 8 minutes of running and with just a couple laps left we wanted to finish a race. We spent the weekend making changes and also ran the car in the group 8A race later in the day with the problem fixed. That was another good race that we will try to get up soon. The car is like a giant shifter cart and a blast to drive.

We've been trying to at least finish this race for three years. We knew that the motor wasn't going to blow up (well, probably not) and the owner really wanted to see the car take the checkered flag.
