  • evidence: the paper beside the window (?)

jack said he didnt touch anything.

the window was left open and it was stormy the previous night.

if he had really not touch anything, the stack of papers by the window would be wet.

however, if the stack of paper is still dry, it proves tht he is lying.

    correct?

  • spoiler alert

thanks for the comment, your answer is right, although the paper should have been scatter on the floor not wet because stormy means strong wind :D, hehe , please answer other quizzes ;D

  • i think jack's allili fails!!!

firstly, how does he know tht the 'silouette' is a murderer and wait till daybreak -.-

secondly, they're havin vacation? why is he at the victim's place.

thirdly, if he is the victim's best friend and if he spot something out-of-place. surely he would rush to help?

  • thanks for comment but we need evidence here :D on why jack lies

Also Jack claimed that he didn't want to call the police because the killer could be waiting outside. This is suspicious because the prospect of a killer waiting outside is all the more reason to contact authorities and not the other way around (I know he only said this to establish the fact that it was still dark outside when the murder occurred but it's true!)

  • My guess is Jack is lying so he's the killer. He claims to recall seeing a silhouette rushing out the window but you probably wouldn't see a silhouette because the light would be coming from inside the room and consequently the killer would be visible. You know there is light in the room because the red curtains inside the room can be seen.

I realize the detective cannot see this picture however the fact that it was story the previous night would lead one to believe that the moonlight and/or

  • I think it's Miji. But I don't know why...

  • There is clue, hint : look at the picture, place yourself in that position, you can solve it :D
