Just putting brass in the tumbler. Using untreated walnut media. I threw in some .308 winchester, 7.62x54 russian, .223 remington and about 50 cases of 7.62x39 russian. This is beginning of reloading demo for my AK-47. I did not turn this on because of the very high possibility of sucking in dust contaminated with lead.

  • where do you find 7.62x54r brass ive looked every were..... what bullet do you use i can only find the .308 in the diameter... or .310 its around 190 gr thanks....great video.

  • Most of my components are from the local shop called THE POWDERHORN. Everthing else from Midwayusa.

  • Is there a way to do this by hand, like getting the media and shake them in a coffee can for a few hours?

I've just bought the Lee progressive 1000, if I have to get the tumbler too I will.

  • Get the tumbler. Get media for cleaning and treated media for polish. The only other way of cleaning the brass is to use Iosso case cleaner which is good for low volume reloading. Since you got the progressive get the tumbler.
