i was in charge of all things medical on that particular scene. 5 miles away the roads were clear and dry, a freak storm caused zero visibility and covered the roads in ice/snow in an extremely short period of time. The people just drove into a wall of snow.

Sometimes you'll be driving along and can't tell there is ice. We call it black ice because it is the same color as the road.
The ice will usually form first on bridges because they have cold under them as well, the roadways get it later because of the warming effcts of the soil under them.

ok,one part says that 50 cars were involved the other said it was 20,witch one??

there were actually more than 50 "involved" in the incident, buy many that were not damaged too badly just drove away. the police only counted the cars that were towed away in their "official" count.
