Getting into kettlebell training? One of the 1st questions is what size to get. Since you sling these things around with momentum, it may be less than what you are used to with dumbbells. Here's a quick guide to help you pick the right size kettlebell.

    Thanks for your help

  • I'm 17stone and 5ft 7in. I currently to one exercise class a week. Other thant that I'm not really active. What size would I start with.

  • how old do you have to be to do this? i am 15 i have never worked out but want to start please answer

  • @Nicolerulezlife 4 kilos is 6 pounds

  • yeah...starting with a 12 or 16 is WAY too much.. It doesn't matter if you are athletic or not...people can really hurt themselves if they aren't careful and don't know what they are doing.

  • I am a 160 pound woman, not very active, however, I excersize on an eliptical 2x a week for 30 minutes on intercal, level 4. Which size should I go for?

  • @id0stuff well perhaps they are famously 'from russia' but russia neighbours with china. its feasible that they crossed a non existent border, at some time. my strength coach believes that they are far older than russia. as they were used for exercise, and sport in russia, but were used for a different means in ancient china.

  • are there adjustable kettlebells that start at 5lbs and dont bruise your forearms? im new to using kettlebells and read reviews about adjustable ones bruising forearms because of their shape compared to traditional nonadjustable kettlebells

  • i'm not aloud to lift over 5 pound so would i use the 4 one(the smallest)?
