@dabcorn Thanks for that. I must seek that tune out, as well as what Ax's work with Cannonball. On another note, many times people are brought to Axelrod's music through hearing it sampled, especially in hip hop. There's a lot of cynicism about that but I'm sure he approves and not just because of the royalties. It means that his work is reaching a new generation. When I first heard Ax, it was the original of Holy Thursday and I thought it WAS hip hop!

@ImaniHekima indeed it does, His "Strange Ladies" LP has a tune 'Mrs. O.J.A." - for Olga James Adderly - wife of 'Cannonball', whom Mr Axelrod says was "my brother"....
