@adamgswanson Paul Asaro told me he wrote out a manuscript to "Snatches", but hasn't seen it in years. "Night Song for the White Rabbit" is another Wellstood composition. I am pretty sure he just made it up on the spot. The intro is used in his version of "Superstar" (a modern pop song by the Carpenters), but the rest of the piece is just a blues featuring quotes from other pieces.

Thanks for the post. Wellstood was a personal hero. Say, are you that great young ragtime-playing guy? I'd like to see you playing more stride, which for me is a Lamborghini to ragtime's Ford. A Ford'll get you there, but you'll arrive happier in a Lamborghini. (Well, me, anyway.)

@theniceone223 Hi, thanks a million! I found the tune in another video... but the title is just "Snatches." "Night Song for the White Rabbit" is another piece. Anyone know who wrote "Snatches" or where it came from?

@adamgswanson It was written by him! He recorded it several times in the mid 70s. Paul Asaro even recorded it the 90s. In his Wellstood's words, "its named after a town in Mississippi." ...I think we all know what he's actually referring to, though. :)

@wilscool Oh my gosh! Has anyone written it down? "Night Song for the White Rabbit" is a separate piece, right? "Snatches" is the name of the one in this video.
