Serious Apology ever made for Taiwan 228 Massacre?

Did former KMT Party Chairman Ma(馬英九)and the present deputy Chairman Wu (吳伯雄) ever honestly acknowledge the bloody truth and offer any sincere apology/indemnity, on behalf of KMT party, to the thousands, butchered victims in 1947 Taiwan 228 Massacre?

Most descendants of the victims in Taiwan 228 Massacre will tell you the answer is plainly NO! In addition, we Taiwanese think the US government should be liable also to the Taiwan 228 Massacre, for it is General Douglas MacArthur, the supreme commander of Allied forces in the southwest Pacific, who issued an order to request CKS' KMT party regime to enter Taiwan (then part of Japan territory) to accept the Japanese surrender in the island once called "Formosa (Taiwan)" in 1945. During the bloody Taiwan 228 Massacre in 1947 and the subsequent white-terror era enforced by imposing martial law on Taiwan people for over 39 years long, thousands innocent Taiwan civilians have been killed. The US government should be fully aware of all the aforementioned crimes committed by KMT party regime in 1947 to 1987, but we believe the US government did choose to close ears to all the outcry and appeals for help by Taiwan people. Taiwan (Formosa) was long since betrayed and forsaken by General MacArthur and by US government, simply because the US government needed someone else to fight against the growing communists' force in Far East.

Notice that a bald guy stood in the center of the TV screen, who kept interrupting the lady from attempting to express her honest opinions (about Taiwan 228 Massacre and the polluted environments) to then Chairman Ma; sadly to wit that guy also a grandchild of a victim killed in Taiwann 228 Massacre!

To IHATEBLEAH: You have to know that there exist 23M people now living in Taiwan, and more than 80% of them are the descendants of the friends, relatives, and families of those Taiwan 228 Massacre victims. First of all, no one in the world give a flying shit about "228 Massacre". Go go US high schools, go to UK high schools. They will teach you that is Rape of Nanking, they will teach you Holocaust, they will teach you Armenia Genocide, but they won't mention the 228 _ masscure_. Why? And Chinese shouldn't even have to apologize for 228 anyways.

@xxxTruthHurtsxxx You have to study history first: the emperor of Japan had surrendered to the Allied forces at the end of WWII in 1945, and 228 massacre occurred afterwards in 1947! CKS government was ordered by General Douglas MacArthur to send representatives to Taiwan to receive the Japanese arms left there. They were not sent there to kill innocent civilians and civil leaders! And CKS regime apparently masterminded 228 massacre so that CKS' cohorts could have a place for their long exile.

Last thing, in Roman Law there is a common logic: Just because you are about starving to death does not give you the right to rob, and just because a government has made some mistakes does not justify any armed rebellions. Those Taiwanese not only attacked police stations, they also invaded armories and airports, regardless whatever reason, that was an ARMED REBELLIONS and any government has the right to send force to kill them.

People on both sides of the Taiwan Strait could join together only when the Communist Pary in China and the KMT Party learn to respect others' human rights and are willing to help build democratic countries.
