nagato never followed madara he just saw that the world needed to be rebuilded so he wanted to use the tailed beast as a destructive weapon to destroy and recreate and make everyone turn their eyes to his weapon and unite against him.

if they unite against him they would all stand together and maybe they would keep this alliance that was his plan if everyone felt the same pain maybe they will all stand together. madara just wanted to use a super genjutsu to make everyone do as he say!

@Dante112 but it's true, 'cause the real founder from Akatsuki was Yahiko, manipulated by Madara and this time Nagato didn't want to "show the world pain". But after Yahiko's death, Akatsuki became a criminal organisation, and Nagato got this attitude and Madara joined Akatsuki. U can read it in the conversation between Madara and Konan, briefly before Madara take the Rinnegan from Pain and say, that he only lent it to him.. You should start reading the Manga instead of doubt what others say ;)

Kakashi deserve to be the 6th Hokage but Naruto must be the 6th . Cuz they always mention sage of the 6 paths, 6 Paths of Pain, Naruto's 6 comma neckless . This must mean something .
