    I think what i meant was that (at the time i left my comment) there was already much commentary making comparisons to other fantastic interpreters, but that not one of them had mentioned Richter

    Can't a performance be appreciated on its own? Every single video of Bach's organ works I see, there's at least one comment gushing over how much Richter was better, or Richter's recording is really their favorite, and so forth.
