Joe Bonamassa - Asking Around For You - 6/26/08 - Tempe Center for the Arts - Tempe, Arizona

Please watch in HQ. This is one of the most beautiful songs that the incomparable singer, songwriter and guitar genius, Joe Bonamassa has in his entire catalogue. It is so lovely.........the lyrics so universally felt and understood..... no matter the loss. Joe wrote this piece with Mike Himelstein.

I shot this particular performance at the incredibly beautiful new Tempe Center for the Arts in Tempe, Arizona, on June 26, 2008. The acoustics were outstanding....... and, when Joe stood up at the front of the stage..... and belted out a few lines without the aid of the microphone....... I'm certain that the audience was as impressed as they were moved.

This piece is also an excellent opportunity to hear the magnificently talented Mr. Rick Melick, on his keyboards as he starts us on our soulful journey through this song ....... and comes back to us later with a fantastic solo before Joe wraps it up. Also on stage with Joe and Rick are his superbly talented drummer, Mr. Bogies Bowles, and bassist extraordinaire, Mr. Carmine Rojas. THE BEST BAND.....the nicest guys.

I hope you enjoy this song....... whether you are happy or sad...... grieving or remembering.......that it will touch you, as it has touched me. Music is a great healer. This song is certainly no exception to that truth. I so appreciate the great gift of it.
