  • "一路埋伏"套路?!

  • @Oho1828 不! 太祖長拳

一路埋伏 = yi lu mai fu

  • Grandmaster like grandfather. he's grand master because his student is master. and indeed it's not Taizu style, it's a long fist from called Taizu Chang Quan, named after the emperor Taizu who was said to be good at long fist. Next time read and think before speaking.

  • i believe this video was taken during the time Grandmaster Li was teaching at Jianzhong Middle School in Taiwan, which place this around 1994. that would make Master Li about 68-69 years old in this video.

  • This is my teacher's teacher's teacher!!

  • amazing

    from Italy

  • When you are in the sixties and you still can do that, and you still can teach, and your students can achieve greatly, and you students still admire you, then, you are grand master.

  • The creator of Chen Tai Chi, Chen Wangting, was himself a military man in ancient China, so he was probably exposed to styles such as long fist. According to historical records, when Chen Wangting created the style he took information and techniques from several martial arts, as well as Chinese medicine, when creating techniques. No doubt long fist, a popular and well known style, especially within the military, was one style from which he drew techniques, explaining some possible similarities.

  • Chen Style Taijiquan has its own form of Changquan 'Longfist' consisting of 108 forms.
