On that dirty side, I kick off the RT OD if I want a great Voxy dirt/breakup tone for dirty rhythms. The X50 is not a MV amp and I prefer it this way. Even at low volumes on both channels, I get that beautiful, slightly strained yet clear tone on both channels. The louder the amp, the better tho.. The straight tone is purely a Celestion Gold close mic'd. The "wet" side of this rig has an EV. I put this together for a new project. My Superlead 1/2 stack is still in use for another proj.

Thanks much! My guitar goes in to a Radial passive ABY. I switch between the channels of my X50. The clean side A goes in to a Fulltone Catalyst which is set for clean and a touch of compression. As the volume goes up, this pedal is backed off. That clean signal goes in to the more aggresive side of the X50. It produces an amazing clean tone. The dirty B side goes in to a Fulltone RT OD, which then goes in to a Dino's Rust Box. That dirty signal goes in to the other channel of the X50.
