Dr. Dreadful,
you mentioned in which you would like apply as the sidekick for Dr. Horrible. As his sidekick would that not make you his "nurse" in which you would thusly become "Nurse Dreadful" or "the Dreadful Nurse" in your position I would apply as my own villain, but perhaps that be too confusing to have two evil doctors in the world.
