Higher level Karate Tournaments end up being a bit boring as Senior competitors rely too heavily on Gyakuzuki.

WARNING from a JKA life member: Years with the JKA (Japan and America) revealed contradictions that caused me to study original karate (beginning, what it is, why developed, how taught, general syllabus). The JKA practices a sport and it has eliminated much of original karate. As such it is not a martial art and is not karate at all. For the discerning and the objective; if you really want to learn of karate, Okinawa is the source. Find a teacher of PROVABLE lineage, it is fascinating.

These are great videos of skilled practitioners. People shouldn't knock it until they have faced some of these people. It is usually the younger less experienced people who criticize the most. The braggards and critics should put their own video on facebook to show us how it should be done!

As martial Artists we should respect critics but be thankful and appreciatiave to learn. Martial Arts is about the Philosphoy, History and above all learning. Its a way of life for a true martial artists. I believe it is shameful to be negative about any martial arts after all we are all still students of Martial Arts as we as life in general.
