  • What many people don't understand is that MMA, Tae Kwon Do, these are sports. Kung Fu is combat training.Pure and simple.

  • One little flick to the nuts even B. Lesnar goes to his knees, funny how people don't get it. Jimmy's San Soo is no sport, sport.

  • san soo is not a sport, you throw a punch, the next thing you know that either your dead, or seriously injured

  • San soo is a unique art. I studied it in the 80s. Incorporates circular and linear moves, hard and soft, variety of punches strikes blocks kicks grappling seen in many other arts. Definitely a street combat system yet has flowing forms and weapons as well.

  • @FightrForLife My sifu (master larry wikel) who studied under J. Woo told me the same story.

  • @Mosconi526 Studied with Master L. Wikel in Culver City in 95 thru 2003. Please tell Mstr. Wikel Jeff Sor said hello and hope everyhing is going well in TN. for him, I'd appreciate it, thanks.

  • Awesome video. I see there are some MMA/BJJ guys that question our art. My question to all of the BJJ/MMA guys is what are you going to do in a riot situation? Take them to the ground and make them submit? Even in a crowded bar fight it could be lethal taking a guy to the ground. It works well in a caged environment where no one can interfere. But in a reality situation no one is going to watch while you wrestle someone to the ground and break their arm. You will get curb stomped on the ground

  • @1950spin bjj would be a better choice for a uhhmmm fighter(?) like that

  • Respond to this video...

if you had to hit him fifty times you are not doing it right. Try Bjj .

  • This was my era training in San Soo - 1972 started with Master Rick Insley. Woolsey Ah Soo were awesome. Hope Master Rick is doing well...a real nice guy.

  • We probably worked out together. My name is Jon Davis... I'm over at powerhouse gym in chatswoth now teaching with Master Darren Carl.

  • @kungfusansoo5family
