@thewhofan99 its the 21st century.. trucks have 18 speeds and 6 speeds.. the problem is.. the configuration of their tranny.. its setup more like a sports car.. even in tow haul mode.. the super duty/ram/GM have it more like an 18 wheeler where it sticks to lower gears when going up hill and shifts to higher gears when towing light loads

for years??back in the day ford's big blocks would put out well over 400 ft-lbs of torque and ford's c6 tranny is a 4 spd and ford guys know that it is virtually indestructible. seriously? 6 spd? nice job toyota but this isn't a fucking car it's supposed to be a truck.

Oh really, obviously you've never driven a toyota tundra with the 6 speed. Its a very smooth shifting transmission even with tow/haul mode engaged.

Toyota should have just put their 4.5L V8 1VD turbo diesel engine that's found on the Land Cruiser on their Tundra in order to make their big trucks fuel efficient.

@hotrodkid7 You also have to figure in a few things, for one, if you hate Tundra, why look videos up on them and bitch to the people who like them. I dont sit there and go to an f150 vid an say its a piece of shit like your doing. And two, Toyota has managed in 10 years with the tundra what the domestics have managed in 40 years. Ok, Im not saying its wrong for you to like Ford or Chevy, Im just sayin, let me like what I like. And that Tundra does everything a Domestic can just better.

@Motorfordtoyota your an idiot. ford dodge and gm all make trucks that can tow twice as much as tundras can, they have been making those trucks for years before the tundra was even around. and for years all truck manuf made trucks that were dangerious with no airbags or crumple zones-including toyota. real guys want an american truck they can count on to get the job done with out having to worry about anything... thats why real men have been driving ford,gm,dodge for nearly a century
