With no guides, it is very hard to make a perfect snowman consistently. The easiest way to make a perfect snowman is to use a tree and a wall as a guide (Two trees will also work). The tree and wall/tree must be in the same row or column of square units composing your town (top to bottom or left to right; no diagonals) and should be separated by only one space (indicated by a shovel hole or a pattern--those squares I mentioned earlier). Your designated spot to put the first snowball should be one of these squares of land. It is best if your designated spot is near a patch of dirt so you can shrink the snowball. First, find a snowball and roll it to about half its maximum size. Then, roll it into your designated spot. If you can't push the snowball all the way through and it gets stuck, then shrink it right away. If the dirt patch wherewith you shrink the snowball is far away, make sure that you shrink it enough or you may have to take more than one trip to the dirt and back. Once you have the snowball in a positon allowing it to roll between the tree and wall/tree without getting stuck (note that it has to be big enough so it can barely pass through without growing enough to get stuck, or else it will be too small), then roll another snowball to its maximum size and roll it right in front of the snowball that you have between the tree and wall/tree. Be careful not to roll the larger ball on top of the smaller one, or it won't work. The video demonstrates this rather lengthy explanation, so hopefully you will get the gist of this time consuming yet rewarding method of creating a snowman.

PLEASE watch in high quality if possible. Don't feel obligated to, though.

  • this is too long to watch, next time make a vid where you don't constantly roll it over the dirt (which makes it smaller)

  • 2 minutes and 33 seconds is too long?

  • Thanks, I have made 3 unsuccessful snowmen. now I know what it should look like. Thx.

Btw, it hurt to watch you roll over flowers and hybrids. Doesn't that kill them?

  • It only kills you if you're running, and you can't run with a snowball.

  • @Supadupadude4 actually, (and not to sound like a smart alek) you can run with a snowball. Your character won't actually be running at top speed, but they do move faster if you hold in the B button while pushing the snowball.

    Thanks for the vid!

  • @HollielillieYume It's more of a brisker, more energetic trot. I wouldn't call it a run ;)

P.S. The pleasure is all mine

  • I love that your macaw is in the background saying hello! Is it a blue and gold?

  • @webkinzgirls555 You just have to look really hard for the second snowball, my second one to day was hidden by a tree at most camera angles so you have to pay a lot of attention or you may not spot it.

  • Help! Every single day, I can only find 1 snowball, and the next day it melts! D: :'(

  • Can The Snowman Melt?

  • I make the first ball as big as posible and then use my carakter as mersuring guid for the second bal, wen she stands behinde it and the ball is a tiny bit visable over her haid, i roll it on and it is perfect every time :)

  • @Supadupadude4 i think he means 2 min and 33 seconds of watching you doing something very boring is too long + you didn't have to make it that big
