no the song is played at normal speed, i just used an arrow speed modifier it keeps the arrows coming at a constant rate and only changes space between the arrows depending on how fast the song is. I used c700 which means it keeps the arrows coming at 700bpm without changing the song speed. that's why it looks so fast. 1x would be a lot slower, most people use c600
