17 goals by welsh forward Mark Hughes, starting with his first years in Manchester United in 1983 when he was 20 years old. At 1:23 there is a Hughes goal in a Barça vs Ath. Bilbao match (season 86-87). Hughes dit not achieve success in Barcelona. He scored less goals than expected, too many actions were penalized with attacking fouls and his play - full of strength but not with the greatest technique - did not fit in the team. He was however a powerful forward able to score spectacular goals. At 1:40 there is a decisive goal against Barça in European Cup Winners Cup final played in Rotterdam in 1991.

  • @lifeonthebeach haha apparently there is a slight regional variation in our english.... Not only do I think hughes is a legend (i watch the spain overhead every week).... But I'm also a massive united fan. Just think of my usage of 'dirty' as being similar to 'nasty' or ' awesome'.... Great comment though buddy, I agree 100%

  • @funcdoktor not so much dirty as hard, hard as fuck mate, took some terrible kicks and never once rolled the floor like you see them spanish twats, if any of them dirt diving bastards took half the kicks mark hughes took they would be in wheel chairs, believe me this, i seen every game mark hughes played for United, and he is the hardest but fairest footballer i ever did see.

  • 0:36..

It's sounds like spanish narrator says "Southampton".......that goal was actually against Sunderland...

  • oh the memories,

    hughes,robbo,whiteside,stapleton & the rest,truly fantastic

  • he was the best since the 70s, law, best and charlton. i used to love how brian moore (? itv presenter) would sat huuuuuuughes! tough dalgiesh like star:)

  • A shame he couldn't get anyone from Man City to play like this. Oh well, I'm sure he'll bounce back and be a good manager somewhere else.

  • Fantastic player, so glad hes not managing them blue twats anymore

  • great music! lol

  • damn, good shit.... i didn't know he was that dirty

  • keep up the good work . MCFC till im gone.
