Completely agree with @theshaza24. And a GED is a high school diploma equivalent. I see this argument a lot on law enforcement videos.Yes a high school diploma is minimum requirement but that doesn't mean you'll get in to the academy when you are competing against men and women with bachelors degrees.The only time I really see people get accepted without a degree is if they had an extensive military career instead of college.Why don't you try to be a cop for a day before you insult

@neckarsulme Go to the Officer Down Memorial Page. (odmp.org) and type in California Highway Patrol. Have some respect. I know you have the possibility of getting some severe carpal tunnel at you're cute 9-5 desk job, but others are out there risking their lives for you.
Also, they're only there for revenue generation? Then why did half of the encounters shown on this video result in a verbal warning? CHP doesn't get any profit from the tickets they right, by the way.

So basically this video shows us that CHP are pretty much out there for revenue generation, and to call tow trucks, and ask pedestrians stupid questions...Wow I didn't know their job was so dangerous. Is this why only a GED is required?
