I heard this song for the first time 20 minutes ago...and I've had it on repeat since then. How can something be so beautiful?

@shblck222 You may want to listen to Blessed And Gone, Set The Ray To Jerry, Stellar, Speed Kills, Frail And Bedazzled, and Pissant.

a child is who i was a child is who i'll die

@shblck222 I can't see it working on Mellon Collie. Doesn't even fit Adore that well. This is certainly a one-off, and I love it. Not for the fair-weather Pumpkins fan though.

Billy Corgan, you taste like soot and poo. O_O

Always when I feel the need to just cry everything out, I listen to this or something from The Cure's Disintegration. The sad songs are the best ones.

my favorite Pumpkins song, this is fucking brilliant ...

this is amazingly beautiful; would've been perfect on "mellon collie"...a lot of their b-side songs have become favorites of mine: cherry, ugly, the infinite sadness...and now this lovely gem...

my favorite band and song
The lyrics to this one GREAT song could have easily been 5 okay songs. I am personally drawn to " i'll often speak of you
but the you was always me
'cause when i speak of me
it's me i ask of you" ~sighs~ I love this especially....BTW, who is the guy in the dark? I'm sure someone has already asked but I hate reading comments because I know some will surely piss me off.

@crazyexstacy actually i don't think anyone asked. but it's just me, no one special. i had this worthless clip that i just stretched out to this huge length and i was like "great now what's a GOOD song i can use?" and i remembered this song. a couple cuts later, and this existed.

you can tell that billy just wanted to say everything he could and wanted to in this song...it's so repetitious and long.. but, for example there's no "repeating chorus"...know what I mean? It's just 6 minutes and 40 seconds of him divulging his thoughts.

that's what struck me as so strange about this song at first, but you're right, and i love it.
i also really am fond of the very last chorus "I hope for resolution" and so on because of how, even though it fits, it's melodically different from the other verses.
