As Long As You're A Q.C.

Over the 2007-8 Summer Session the UNSW Law School was blessed by the visit of a British barrister (Queen's Counsel) and deputy judge, John Randall. As our Advanced Contract Law (LAWS2025) lecturer, he imparted much knowledge, particularly the quote which began and ended the course, said by Sir John Donaldson MR: '"Condition" is a chameleon like word, which takes its meaning from its surroundings.' After a Don Corleone impersonation the day before with the Godfather music in the background, our bemused barrister invited (or dare I say challenged) me to put on another show of entertainment for the last class of the course.
How could I resist the opportunity?
