Funny how as I've gone through several clips, this is the first I saw with the original titles (before the big swooping font used most of the series.) So far I haven't found a posting with the full intro with the extra 10 seconds or so.

hey megamanj2007, about the cat meow, was that true? because I usually hear bob newhart's voice. I used to sound creepy to me though, now I learned It was bob newhart. the last episode had QUIET!.

Steve Kampmann was cool. If you ever get a chance, watch one of the WKRP episodes he wrote (for example, the one where Herb sells a painting to Bailey) - check out how much Herb Tarlek resembles Steve Kampmann! ;-)

The closing credits on this episode and one the 1st 2 or 3 eps of the 1st season had the normal Mimsie the Cat (in the MTM logo) doing the normal "Meow!" sound instead of Bob Newhart himself.
