The US Army granted engineers at the University of Maryland a 5 year, 10 million dollar contract to develop tiny micro air vehicles to be used in war zones They believe that these insect robots could save soldiers' lives by assisting them with reconnaissance and surveillance in the most hostile environments.

  • Look into "transhumanism" and "the new man". Understand that you were perfect the way you were created. Protect your pineal gland from sodium fluoride. If what the global elite is doing was sane they would not need robots and sheep to do their dirty work. Spread the truth and it will multiply. It takes constant work and energy to keep a lie alive, eventually the truth will rise to the surface. We are at a critical point in humanity. Act now! -OneLove

  • The idea is that these can be used to go inside buildings, caves, and city areas to find out information without risking human lives. If a chemical weapon were to go off in a city, these could find survival victims. This is simply one example. I think part of the problem is this news agency choose a very poor title for this video: "American insect Terminators" and really spun the story about 'killer robots' when they are not.

  • Amarica won WW3 already no way there winning. We've made fucking technology not even the japenese have created yet there done for that is all we need and we will win

  • @cabdolla they are essentially developed to save some human lives, but to destroy x10 more lives on the other side... its kind of pointless tho, usa usually bombs the hell out of a country anyway, just to kill one sniper... how about fair fight for once? 100 soldiers vs 100 soldiers (not some villagers with AKs)... there is no glory in us army!

  • @Archonful As long as it brings me money, I don't give the slightest shit who the buyer is

  • The problem I see with these (as they will inevitably be weaponised) is that once they have been made... will there be any countermeasures? Im not talking about a robotic revolt or anything like that lol, But the black market. these could potentially be incredibly dangerous... so before anything continues.. a cirtain amount of defence should be invested in... for when they inevitably become available for all.

  • Bad guy´s= american´s

  • @sam199166 Well I got a better idea.

Why not we fight wars in MMOs? It takes only 3+ Million to make the game, then the US or whatever gets gamers to fight (Pay to play wise), the gamers will pay to play the game (aka fight the war) The Country will be making money from the war, without firing a single Real Life Shot.

  • Guys is this the Matrix?

  • @newmanfrigan This is the single most idiotic comment I have ever read on youtube.

  • @WythenshawePhil Tools of kick ass engineering is more like it. You sitting on your ass using the computer to jerk off while playing activist for fun,...that's a much bigger problem, all this spittle flecked impotent rage spouting is just being diverted from the real target. Change yourself first, from the inside out. Stop buying so much stuff. You are not #1, you aren't special, you don't have special knowledge, you are not a wiseman. So go DO SOMETHING and STFU!
