  • I have the supreme slider. I had been using it for a couple of weeks. then I took it off. I noticed it was linty, but thought , oh, it will be ok. Yikes! Its wasn't. It was to linty and didn't adhere properly and I stitched through it. Luckily, I felt something wasn't right right away and only stitched through right next to the little hole. I just put a small piece of electrical tap over my mishap.o far,so good;)

  • @danihu03 - Take your supreme slider off the machine and rinse off the lint at your bathroom sink. Dry it off with paper towels and it will stick securely to your machine again. It's always a good idea to secure the edges with a bit of tape just in case!

  • I love this great notion. I also like your setup of tables, but where did you get the (2) adjacent tables you have set up to the main machine table? How did you get your heights all so nice? Wherever did you get your great-looking scarf? Thanks for such thorough explanations.

  • @quilterstitch - I purchased the other tables from Lowes or Office Max. They're just normal folding tables and the one in the back is 3 ft by 6 ft the other is 2 ft by 4 ft. I get the heights perfect by placing a block of wood under the legs of the sewing table. Again you can get a 1 x 4 board from Lowes and have them cut it down for you to size so it fits under your machine perfectly. I think mine are about 18 inches long or so.

And the scarf came from Target!

    Cheers,

    Leah

  • Great video, so helpful for a beginner. Can you use the bobbin genies on a front load bobbin?

  • @georgette329 Yep! They work for top loading and side loading bobbins, and we even have super sized bobbin washer (called Mega Genies) for longarm machines too!

  • I am SO glad I purchased the Ultimate Quilting Kit with all these great products! Thank you for offering the combo pack so I could get them all at once without fuss. Great video too - very helpful tips with using the slider and washers. tfs...

  • @dcnorcal - I'm using an Arrow Gidget 2 table. It has a nice big cut out for bigger machines and an optional insert you can get so you have a nice flush surface all around your machine. Check more of my videos for info on the tables. They really are awesome!

  • I just wanted to ask what kind of table setup you are using? For me the table is the best thing I could do for better quilting.
