i honestly believe Matt Halpern has redefined what was considered to be "metal" drumming and taken it to a whole new level.

I was at Sonisphere and I would of gladly just of listened to Matt doing his little jams between songs...such a amazing drummer :D

@VegasPoker Yeah - me too - I didn't know he would be playing so mic'd the kit up for Matt, a mic to pick up the vocals - both running to my mac and the two cameras, all pretty much on the fly in between the festival chaos - I agree with you, really annoyed me too but really happy with Matt's sound with a single mic on the kit. I guess we'll have to make sure they play next year and do it again, eh :) I'm up for it!!
