This Light show was done using my homemade RGY projector hooked up to a Pangolin LD-2000.

  • It seems to me everything is done on a 180degree arc. Do you need to pre program each flux in color patern or beam location? or is there a set program for each funtion?

Prehaps you can get a 2nd one, would a cross beam give you a higher energy state resulting in a differnt color? would be nice to have a 3d image

  • Yes, it "appears" that the laser is only doing an arc in the video. The show is very dimensional in person however. The projector is actually able to do complex graphics and animations. It will even do television! Yes, the program running this lightshow is very complex but easy to use. Every pattern and animation along with colors can be created and altered. You then add the frames to a timeline with music to add transitions that go along with the music.

  • Yes, when beams intersect the color and intensity do mix/change. This can be done with one projector.

  • Nice work! Enjoyed it.

Which pangolin version do you have to do this?

  • Thanks!

It's the Pangolin LD-2000 Intro package with a QM-2000 PCI card.

    Cheers, Chris

  • That's beautiful pal, what power offset are you using between red & green to get that yellow?

  • How did you make the laser projector and how much did it cost?

  • Yeah, I built the projector from parts.
