You mentioned a limited video recoding time . My older DSC-T5 will record continuously until the card is full. I can record entire concerts on two 4GB memory sticks. Any idea when/why they changed that?

Also wondering if the stereo mic is attenuated. The older mono mic was, so it wouldn't clip /distort at high volumes. I've stood right beside concert PA's at heavy metal shows without getting any distortion. It reduces bass response on playback but I think that's better than it clipping.
