  • cool ! i'll try it ;)

  • Let me know how you get on witch it...

    Paul..

  • Hey I can do the same thing with an ignition coil, only a little bit weaker. If you connected it with some wire to a sheet of aluminum foil on top of another with some isolation in between you can create an electrical loudspeaker.

It will then be the electric field which makes the sound.

  • Do you have a video to show this? I would like to see this in action...

    Paul..

  • if i break a plasma globe while on, whill i die?

  • not safe at all

  • Did you know that most plasma globes run on the exact same circuit as tesla coils? I thought that was quite interesting...

  • I could try to replicate it on video, its not that hard I think.

It was actually really funny, by pressing on the top isolation I could modify the pitch, making it partly sound like someone screaming...

The ignition coil was used instead of the charging battery in the SSG setup.

  • I Know for a Fact Negative Resistance Exists an man Called Leona Esaki won the nobel prize for it in 1972.

Ill upload a Video of an example of it...

But in answer to your question yes but its a measure of where you are measuring to be Zero Resistance.....

    Whats your thoughts?

    Paul.

  • no, i meant i thought tesla used shelac to cover his spheres, or was it wax, or both....
