@djfakt Agreed somewhat. Block A-1/A-2's theme is definitely better on the NES. But Block A-3 is FAR superior on the Famicom.

THANK YOU! CV III had, by far, the best music in the series. It's my fave CV game ( Well, there's also SOTN and Rondo!)...
Now I know that the Japanese version had the special sound chip but I think that, in the end, I dig the American tunes a bit more. They are cleaner and sharper. The Famicom versions do have more bass but sometimes they sound a bit cluttered... And I know about synth sounds; I'm a sound designer!
