Demo of a nice working Drake 2-B receiver. Covers 80-10 meters. Very stable. Great rig for SSB and CW operation. I use one of these teamed up with a Vintage transmitter. Big fun to operate.
These were and are great radios. I had a pristine unit in the mid 80's when I first got started in amateur radio. I think I paid $10 for it back then which is nothing compared to their present day value.
well done. and nice tone to that rig. yes indeed. i would like to get myself an AM (ham) setup later, maybe drake or hallicrafters.
