"Do you have to leave already?" Selena whined, grabbing hold of Nick's arm. Nick sat back down, facing Selena. "School will be over in an hour and a half. You can wait that long, right?" Nick asked, brushing a strand of hair that fell out of place.
Selena pouted her lips and crossed her arms. "I guess," She hissed, rolling her eyes. Nick grinned. "Good. I'll be all yours when I get back," He stated, standing up.
Selena smiled at that and leaned forward. Nick planted a sweet kiss on her forehead and walked out the door, letting a cool breeze seep into the warm house.
Selena shivered, suddenly exhausted. That sleepless night really got to her. She layed her head down on her pillow and she closed her eyes. She jumped when she felt a cold rag rest on her head.
"It's alright," Denise whispered. "I'm just putting this on your head to cool you down a little. You've got a high fever," She explained, pushing Selena back down onto her pillow.
"But I'm freezing," Selena stuttered, shivering a bit. "Hmm. . ." Denise muttered, taking the rag off Selena's head. "I'll just go get some medicine. It might even help you sleep better,"
Selena smiled anxiously. She had been waking up off and on throughout the day, and it made her even more exhausted then she already was. Denise returned from the kitchen with Adult's Syrup Medicine. It tastes like sour grapes, Selena thought to herself as she swallowed the liquid.
She took a sip of water, attempting to get the taste out of her mouth. Selena immediately felt the drowsiness tick in and Denise smiled. "There you go," She said, giving Selena a pat on the arm.
Selena rested her head back on her pillow and was finally able to sleep peacefully.

Selena opened her eyes slowly as her peaceful rest ended. She looked around herself, noticing the quietness of the warm house.
Selena looked to her right and saw Denise asleep on the love seat next to her. Selena smiled and looked at the clock suddenly sitting on the coffee table. She had only slept for 53 minutes? No way, Selena thought. It feels like its been hours.
Selena sat up and felt a sudden dizziness, causing her to quickly lay back down. She groaned and rolled off the couch without lifting her head. She crawled to the bathroom, relieving herself.
She crawled to the kitchen and tried her best to get into a chair. But it was no use. She was simply too weak. She sighed and made her way back to the couch and planted her head back on the pillow.
She turned on the tv and closed her eyes as she listened to the soft voices coming from the speakers. She fell asleep again and didn't wake up until she heard the faint roar of a car in her drive way.
She gasped, looking at the clock quickly. Nick was here again, She thought happily to herself. Her dizziness hadn't worn off yet, though, so she impatiently waited with her head laying on her pillow.
Denise stirred, but continued with her nap. "Nick!" Selena shrieked softly, trying not to wake Denise. Selena smiled while trying to sit down and frowned again when she had failed.
Nick looked toward his mom and closed the door lightly. Selena pushed her pillow upward, lifting her upper body. "Hey," Nick whispered, helping Selena sit up.
"I haven't been able to move all day, Nick," Selena whined, giving him a sad pout. Nick stared at her lips as she bit down on them. He looked up quickly before she noticed and gave her a sympathetic look.
"I know," He whispered, caressing her burning cheek. His hand moved up toward her forehead and he frowned. Her fever was rising. "Don't you feel warm at all?" Nick asked.
"I'm roasting," Selena muttered, pouting again. Nick walked to the kitchen and got an ice pack out of the fridge. "Here," He said, handing her the ice pack.
"Thanks," Selena said, placing the ice pack on her head, then her stomach, making it a routine.
Nick woke his mother up and told her she could go home. "I'll see you on Monday, Selena," Denise said, planting a kiss on Selena's head.
Like mother, like son, Selena thought, giving Denise a smile. "Bye," She waved, watching Denise walk out into the cold afternoon.
"Are you gonna stay here for the weekend?" Selena asked desperately, grasping on to his hand.
"If you want me to. I'll have to go home and get my stuff, though," Nick said. Selena smiled brightly. "I'd really like it if you did,"
"Okay, then. Will you be okay for 20 minutes?" Nick asked. Selena nodded, letting go of his hand. "Then I'll be back in 20 minutes," and he walked out.
Selena watched the tv for a while when she heard the doorbell ring. She glanced toward the door, but ignored it. It wasn't Nick, so she didn't care. She looked up surprised when she saw it open.
Miley stepped into the house, peeking into the living room. Selena stared her dumbfoundedly, wishing she hadn't told Nick to go.

i hope miley stops acting like a bitch to her and they become best friends again. and nick and denise are such sweethearts !! nick is sooo freakin dreamy ! ahhh i love the jonas family ! and i hope miley says sorry. i loooooove looooove loove this story ! amazing <3
