'Low Rising' by Swell Season on Q TV

Glen Hansard, a member of the Irish band "The Frames" and Marketa Irglova, first made waves as a song writing team in the surprise hit film 'Once'.

The indie small budget musical film went on to win audience awards at both the Dublin Film Festival and at the Sundance Film Festival.

But it was the music that made the film and it was the music that made it's biggest mark culminating in the 2007 Oscar for best original titled "Falling Slowly".

Well today the duo of Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova are known as "The Swell Season" and they sat down in Studio Q for an interview and to perform material off their new album "Strict Joy" This is the song 'Low Rising'

@zt122: It's a Takamine, most likely an NP15, which is a discontinued model. They were built with solid cedar tops, which explains both the beautiful tone and the wear and tear (cedar is a relatively soft wood).
